  • Live webcam launched at Ferrybridge trial CCS facility Doosan Power Services announced on Tuesday 7 June the launch of a live webcam of the carbon capture and storage (CCS) trial the company is undertaking at the Ferrybridge power station in West Yorkshire. The joint venture with Scottish and Southern Energy and Vattenfall has been awarded £6.3mn by DECC to undertake the 5MW project.Chief executive of SSE Ian Marchant said the development of CCS "needs to be a collaborative process" and working in a joint project will enable a better understanding of how CCS technology can be used in the future.To find out more and see the live webcam, visit Doosan Power Systems.
